Forest - Field, Wald - Feld, 1996, Wiepersdorf forest, Space related installation with nine red - colored ropes, total length of the ropes: 450 m, Exhibition: “In the forest of the one and only painting”, 1996, Wiepersdorf forest, Brandenburg; group show with 12 participants from 5 countries.
This work connected the forest and the field on a length of about 700 m. The ropes were colored with red and brown pigment and were fixed in the trees at a height of about 12 m. As important as the general effect of “being tied up” or “swinging” is the moment of “landing” or “gliding” of the ropes in the field. The change of the natural light is of great importance.
