Draft, Luftzug, 2006, Permanent interactive light installation in a public passage (Breite Straße/C&A) at Berlin Pankow, Tecnical support: Fa. Sörensen, Potsdam

The passage (hight: ca. 500 cm, width: ca. 500 cm) has been devided into two active parts : Each entrance is equipped with one motion sensor which activate the programmed movement of the 40 low voltage reflector lamps at the ceiling. The movements of each part do meet in the middle of the passage. If only one ore a few people enter the passage, the movements will be fast. The more people are passing the passage, the slower the movement of the lights will be. The cone of light caused by the change of the intensity of the lamps is reflected on the walls and on the floor.
